Norway's smartest industrial company
Glencore Nikkelverk is awarded the title of "Norway's smartest industrial company 2022" . State Secretary Elisabeth Sæther from the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy presented the award at the Industrial Conference held at Colosseum Cinema on May 9th.
- This year's winner is an established industrial company that has managed to leverage advanced technology and digitalization solutions, becoming a strong contributor to the green shift, says Torger Reve, jury leader and professor emeritus at BI Norwegian Business School, to smartindustri.no.
Through research and development, combined with continuous improvement processes, they have emerged as a company that seems to do everything right. The result is a level of productivity that can withstand Norwegian cost levels, and a production that serves the global market.
