NEL Hydrogen becomes the only Norwegian nickel supplier
- This is our first Norwegian customer since the 90s. Otherwise, we exclusively export, says Nils Gjelsten, CEO of Glencore Nikkelverk, to FVN.no.
- The Glencore group has just signed an agreement stipulating that they will supply the hydrogen company Nel Hydrogen with 75 percent of all the nickel they need for their production until 2029. Nel Hydrogen will thus become the sole Norwegian customer for Glencore Nikkelverk.
- Getting a Norwegian customer is a milestone, says Gjelsten to FVN.no.
