Building a new battery fabric in Arendal
The Mayor in Arendal and the chief of business can pop the champagne to celebrate Morrow´s planned battery factory in Arendal.
Arendal´s Mayor, Robert Cornels Nordli and the chief of business, Kåre Andersen, have worked hard to get the battery factory to Arendal.
The Eyde Cluster have contributed with counceling Morrow within battery research and the available competence, but as a neutral part in the location decision.
The factory will be situated close to the E18 road between Arendal and Tvedestrand. The commune has allready ready a 24,7 acre site, and the site can expand nine times if needed.
The building is scedulded to start in 2023. The factory will cost 5 billions NOK.
